CAF - Central Animal Facilities

The CAF is a service of the EAC, University of Bern and focuses on the housing and breeding of rodents and rabbits for biomedical research, as well as the provision of laboratory facilities for researchers to carry out animal experiments.

The location of the premises within the Insel area, allows scientists to perform the experiments efficiently.

Based on its personnel, spatial and financial possibilities, the CAF always endeavors to support and meet the needs of researchers. The user agreement and internal regulations support the operational processes in the animal facilities.
